Hello everyone! In case I haven't done so completely back on my birthday, I want to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday! It was very much appreciated and I just want everyone to know how thankful I am.
More currently, Happy Earth Day! I hope everyone got to do something today to help benefit our planet, or just do something that helps us preserve it more and let it prosper into the future.
So here, have some Kye from four years ago getting into the spirit of things!
Speaking of which, it was today five years ago that I joined dA. It really does surprise me how fast time flies, and the sort of progress you make as you go along. Back in 2010, I had no sort of artistic skill, and I never really saw myself doing this sort of thing, even for just a hobby. But one Boy Scout meeting, I gave it a try.
Wow, that's ugly... This was my first upload, five years ago. I don't really go to the back of my gallery much just because... it makes me cringe to look at such old stuff, more so looking at what I wrote with it, in terms of descriptions and comments. Anyway, I gave drawing a try and I wound up surprising myself, so much so, I wanted to try again, and wound up doing better the second and third times, and it just got better! At least, to me it did. I'm sure there are people out there who won't like my style, they'll think it's not great, but that's OK to me; this is my hobby, this is something I enjoy for the fun of doing it, with no real goal to meet. I don't aim to be better, I just go at my own pace and see how different I can get over time. This is still fun to me, and as much as I tend to not do anything on here, such as uploading more pieces, I still do like it and know that eventually, I'll want to start drawing again, get a surge of inspiration to just draw again.
I've made so many great memories on this website, so many great friends, some of the best presents and gifts I've ever got, and I still want to see how long I can keep this account alive for. It's been five years, and I'm looking forward to the next five! Thank you to everyone who's supported me for this long!

Ketchup
It's a condiment and a term you use when you want to get someone up to speed on something.
It's certainly been time for me to do this, and as May is about to end and make way for June, I say... good riddance.
May 2019 is perhaps the worst month for me in quite some time. It started out well too, I finally got to spend time with coworkers again for somewhat reoccurring game nights. The night itself was great, how it ended, not so much. I'd rather just leave it at that.
About a week later, after a weekend of work, my Mom walks into my room to let me know that my Grandma's youngest dog had passed away suddenly. I had to go over that afterno
We Survived Hurricane Irma!
So a few days ago, I posted a status update talking about Hurricane Irma, a once-Category 5 tropical cyclone in the Atlantic Ocean that came through Florida over this past weekend, and warning all of you of its potential impact on my area and my ways of operation, to call it.
First of all, I'm perfectly fine. There was no real damage to my house, a few shingles did fall off the roof, but the power wasn't even out for a full 24 hours before it came back on. I was very grateful to the power company for working so hard and so fast to get things going really quickly.
But I'm devastated at the damage Irma has caused in the Florida Keys, and more
Warning to Skype Friends
UPDATE (May 21): After spending some time this morning and some time after work this evening, I feel like I've been able to lock down the accounts associated with my Skype account. I've made sure to reset my password to all of my associated accounts (or to something more powerful), turned on two-factor authentication for the associated accounts, and started using a password authenticator, which has worked pretty well.
I've begun using Microsoft's free Authenticator app, available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Using this app, you can log into your Microsoft accounts (or any others you might have) and the app will generate passwords to
Call to Action
Hey there, everyone. I'd like to take a moment to write to you about a friend of mine going through some tough times that could use any bit of help he can get.
This friend in question happens to be AcetheGolden (https://www.deviantart.com/acethegolden), however he has seen far less use here on DeviantART, but he can be found on FurAffinity, where he is often known as Draygo. I've known him for what has to be five years now who happens to live in the same state as me. He's incredibly kind, fun, caring and just a wonderful person to get to meet. Today I had the absolute pleasure of getting to meet him and his family for the first time as they had to move from their location to a

Talk about a reminiscence episode. And you joined on Earth Day? Huh... that'd make something else really appropriate.
